About the Author
Roger L. Brauer, PhD, PE, holds bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering and psychology and a masters and PhD in engineering. He served on a certification board of directors for seven years and held all offices of the organization. He worked on the staff of two certification organizations for five years. He created new certifications, specialty examinations and a certification management system. He then spent fifteen years as the Executive Director of the two organizations. His efforts achieved four accreditations for a professional practitioner program and moved it to a pay value of nearly $30,000 annually. Learn more.
