ICE Handbook Chapter 14: International Certification

Chapter 14 discusses the internationalization or globalization of certification. Its objectives are to identify factors to be considered in the decision to go global and examine globalization certification models that can be applied in different contexts. In addition, the chapter describes the effects of globalization on the essential processes, products, and quality of a certification program and presents the technical, operational, and practical considerations that should be assessed by organizations contemplating globalization of programs.
