This purchase provides you with access to the concurrent session Meeting Examination Standards for Assessment-Based Certificate Programs, Part 1. The Assessment-based Certificate Accreditation Committee (ACAC) created a set of psychometric guidelines to assist certificate program administrators with demonstrating compliance to the ICE 1100 Standard, and in particular, Standard 7 on the Development, Conduct, and Evaluation of Assessments.
In part 1, presenters provide a detailed orientation to some of these guidelines, with a focus on aligning assessments with learning objectives and conforming to best practices surrounding assessment policies and procedures. In part 2, presenters use the guidelines as a framework to provide guidance on psychometric issues such as how to administer, score, and evaluate assessments in a manner that meets the Standard.
This session is suitable for all levels of credentialing professionals in both the public and private sectors.
