What should an organization consider when establishing the ideal ratio of insourcing vs. outsourcing for a credential? And more importantly, how can executives maintain sufficient control of credential quality when outsourcing is in play?

Outsourcing aspects of credential development has become commonplace for executives. For those organizations meeting credentialing accreditation standards (NCCA, ISO, ANSI), the need to identify and closely manage vendors is significant as clear expectations and close partnerships are required. While there are clear benefits to outsourcing, organizations should not overlook the value gained from cross-training resources to develop a stronger bench of talent internally. Setting up an ecosystem that includes a healthy mix of in-house talent supplemented by outside vendors can result in higher returns to the organization in the long-term.

Webinar Learning Objectives

  • Determine the optimal strategy for outsourcing that aligns best with your business cycles and objectives.
  • Establish a sustainable program by combining in-house resources with vendor services.
  • Consider accreditation standards when selecting the most appropriate vendor and including the right mix of penalty and rewards in service agreements.
