|Dr. Carr is the Chief Executive Officer and Ms. Bloom is the Certification and Legal Advisor to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (“BACB”). Since its incorporation in 1998, the BACB’s certifications have been successfully written into more than 25% of state licensure laws (with several additional acts pending at the time of this writing). The BACB’s certifications are also the basis for a number of agency rules and authorizations, educational codes and several title protection acts. Most of these accomplishments have occurred in just the past 5 years. We attribute this success to a cooperative and diligent approach to addressing licensure endeavors.|
