This session will re-think the RFP process through the development of an RFP that fosters partnerships emphasizing the fit between the vendor and the certification organization. User stories are a universal method for expressing detailed requirements in a format that remains focused on the user need as much as the solution the vendor must provide. This approach gives the vendor the clearest picture of what is needed while providing flexibility to fit the solution within the framework that the vendor holds. This session will cover the development of a timeline as well as ICE resources available to assist certification organizations in developing an RFP for a wide range of products and services.
