Call for 2026 I.C.E. Leadership

One of the many benefits of belonging to I.C.E. is the opportunity to positively impact the credentialing community by serving in a leadership position.

I.C.E. is accepting applications until May 31, 2025 for open leadership positions. All terms begin January 1, 2026.

I.C.E. Nomination Process

Elected Position Nomination and Ballot Process

  • May 31, 2025: Application Deadline. The I.C.E. Nominating Committee will review all leadership applications received by the closing date.
  • June 12, 2025: Interview Decision. Applicants will be notified if selected for an interview.
  • June 16-27, 2025: Interview dates. Applicants will participate in a 30-minute virtual interview with two or more members of the Nominating Committe.
    • Applicants should hold these dates on their calendars upon submitting their application.
    • The interview will be recorded for all committee members to review.
  • July 18, 2025: Ballot Selection. I.C.E. will notify all applicants whether they were selected for the election ballot or not.
  • July 31, 2025: Ballot Process. An electronic ballot will be distributed by email to the primary contact of all I.C.E. Organizational, Accredited Organizational, and Sustaining members who are responsible for casting the vote on behalf of their organization.
    • Candidates selected for the election ballot agree that their bio and responses to the application questions will be displayed on the ballot. A final review will be provided prior to distribution.
  • September 30, 2025: Final results. The Nominating Committee and I.C.E. Executive Director will notify candidates of the final results.
    • If a tie in the election occurs, the Nominating Committee will re-evaluate candidates and select the candidate for the position.

Appointed Position Nomination Process

  • May 31, 2025: Application Deadline. The I.C.E. Nominating Committee will review all leadership applications received by the closing date.
    • The Nominating Committee conducts an initial qualification screening.
  • June 13, 2025: Qualification Decision. Applicants will be notified if their application is forwarded for consideration for the appointed position.
  • July-August, 2025: Interview Dates: Applicants will be notified if selected to participate in a 30-minute virtual interview with members of the I.C.E body they are seeking to join.
    • Applicants agree their application materials will be shared with the members of the corresponding I.C.E. body for which they are applying, who will manage the interviews and appointment process.
  • September 30, 2025: Final results. Individuals will be notified of the results of the election.

Membership Notification for all 2026 Leadership Positions

The membership will be notified of final election results at the 2025 I.C.E. Exchange and through email. Elected and appointed individuals will begin their term on January 1, 2026.
