Who

Individual who wants to gain insights into the eco-system of certification from a program's conception, through its development and delivery, to maintenance and improvement. 

Individuals working in credentialing seeking recognition of their professional knowledge and experience.

Holders of the ICE-CCP certification have demonstrated competence in professional credentialing

Experience

Anyone can take the course, but designed for someone with at least one year of credentialing experience. 

Individuals apply to take the exam, and must meet  elibility  requirements at the time of application. Visit the ICE-CCP page for specific details.

At least 3 years of full-time experience as a credentialing professional in the professional certification or licensing fields in one or more of the domains covered by the examination. OR  at least 2 years of full-time em experience (as described above) AND 1 or more of the specified relevant qualifications.

Format

An Online Course where the individual learns information and then takes a quiz to ensure they learned the concepts.

Each course presentation is 45 minutes to 90 minutes in length. Participants report spending 2-3 hours per module.

A Certification exam. The ICE-CCP examination consists of 155 multiple-choice questions. The examination questions cover the topic areas detailed in the Examination Content Outline

Recognition

A digital badge recognizing the “Credentialing Specialist," awarded to participants who pass all assessments within the six-month time frame.

8 credits that can apply to the ICE-CCP eligibility or recertification  or CAE requirements.

Individuals who successfully pass the exam can use the ICE-CCP designation after their name

Certification is granted for a period of four years. To maintain their status, individuals must recertify by earning 60 credit hours or successfully retaking the examination prior to their expiration date.

Individuals who are unsuccessful on their first attempt have the opportunity to re-test within 12 months of application approval for $250.

None! This is for anyone who is brand new to certification and needs an introduction to major concepts. Anyone can take the course, but designed for someone with at least one year of credentialing experience.

An Online Course where the individual learns information and then takes a quiz to ensure they learned the concepts.

Each module averages 45 minutes to 60 minutes in length.
