ICE-CCP Workshop: Preparing for the Exam

About the Workshop

Please note: Participation in this workshop is not required in order to take the ICE-CCP exam and does not guarantee a passing score.

This workshop is designed for individuals interested in taking the ICE-CCP exam or those interested in learning more about the ICE-CCP content areas. Facilitated by subject matter experts, this interactive workshop will: 

  • Define who the credentialing professional is, and who the ICE-CCP exam is written for
  • Provide an overview of each content domain of the examination content outline
  • Review considerations for sitting for the exam

Upon registration, attendees will receive access to the ICE-CCP self-study guide to support participation in the workshop. During each session, attendees will have an opportunity to engage in activates to deepen their understanding of the content ask questions of experts, and connect with their fellow colleagues also interested in earning their ICE-CCP.

Governance and Resources: Cynthia Allen, ICE-CCP and Janice Moore, ICE-CCP, SeaCrest Consulting

Utilizing nearly 20 years of experience in certification program development and maintenance, accreditation, project management, and marketing/communications, Cynthia provides strategic guidance to organizations seeking to improve their credentialing programs and communicate better with stakeholders. She co-founded SeaCrest in 2006 and supports the organization’s overall belief that certification programs, no matter the size or scope, can make a positive impact. She is an active member of the credentialing community and believes in sharing knowledge and experience to build a stronger and connected credentialing community. Cynthia is a long-time member and volunteer of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.),earning the 2022 Mary Macomber Service Award in recognition of her contributions to the credentialing community. She has shared her experience through speaking engagements at conferences and webinars hosted by ICE, the American Board of Nursing Specialties (ABNS), and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Janice co-founded SeaCrest Consulting with Cynthia Allen in 2006 to serve as a resource for organizations seeking to build, improve, and grow certification programs. Leveraging 20 years of experience in the certification industry she serves as a strategic partner for organizations seeking to develop new credentials, improve existing programs, and achieve accreditation. After working with clients across dozens of industries to develop their certification programs, Janice firmly believes that accreditation standards are an effective framework for improvement. Her understanding of the application and interpretation of accreditation standards and the workings of the NCCA, ANSI, and ABSNC accrediting processes is evident in the more than 300 successful accreditation applications submitted by SeaCrest. Janice serves as a strategic planning partner to evaluate and improve clients’ major program areas helping set goals, assess feasibility, develop strong governance foundations, facilitate policy development, and design quality management programs. In addition to volunteering throughout her community, Janice remains committed to the certification industry through a number of volunteer activities. She often presents at industry conferences (including I.C.E. and ASAE), has participated on numerous I.C.E. committees, and served on the I.C.E. Board of Directors and the I.C.E. Accreditation Services Council. Janice earned the 2022 Mary Macomber Service Award in recognition of her contributions to the credentialing community.

Credentialing Program Operations: Vita Greco, ICE-CCP Professional Testing Corporation (PTC)
Vita Greco is the Director of Psychometric Services for the Professional Testing Corporation (PTC). Vita has almost 20 years of experience in the administration and development of certification and licensure programs. Her expertise includes managing certification programs of all sizes and industries, launching new credentials, item and exam development, standard setting, analyzing statistical reports, accreditation compliance, marketing, strategic planning, and advising clients on all aspects of their assessment programs. Vita is very active in the credentialing industry where she presents at professional conferences and serves on working committees such as the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.), where she is currently serving on the External Stakeholders Working Group; the Association of Test Publishers (ATP), where she is currently serving on the Marketing Committee; and the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), where she is a voting member of the Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee (PCAC). Vita has an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.
