You are joining an elite group of certificate holders who have demonstrated their knowledge in the field of certification in order to research, analyze, develop, deliver, maintain, and update certification programs.
To maximize the value of your certificate, please explore the resources below.
Marketing Your Certificate
To help market your "Credentialing Specialist" certificate to key individuals or groups, we suggest completing the following tasks:
1. Link your digital badge in the signature of your email. Download an image of the badge, and add it to your email signature. Add your personal hyperlink so everyone knows what you learned by earning the badge. (Please note: the downloaded image is a PNG. You can update the file type to a different format using image editing software.)
2. Add your new credential to your LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn does not differentiate between Certification and Assessment-based Certificate Programs but rather allows you to list all achievements in a section that they title Certifications under Accomplishments. Link your digital badge to your LinkedIn profile.
3. Add your new credential to your resume. Be sure to display your credential appropriately by noting that your earned credential is the "Credentialing Specialist Certificate". Your certificate does not expire.
4. Customize a letter/email to distribute to your supervisor. Ask your supervisor to send an announcement to your organization or feature your achievement in an internal newsletter or email. You may use the sample letter below.

5. Provide a link to the Credentialing Specialist directory to anyone looking to verify your credential. The directory can also be accessed via ICE's homepage. You are only listed in the directory if you gave ICE permission to list you through the Certificate Program's follow-up survey. If you are not currently listed but would like to be, please contact ICE staff at info@credentialingexcellence.org.
Please contact ICE Staff at 202-367-1165 or at info@credentialingexcellence.org if you have any questions concerning your Credentialing Specialist certificate.
