With the upcoming revision of the ICE 1100: Standard for Assessment-Based Certificate Programs, I.C.E. is proposing updates to our Basic Guide to Credentialing Terminology to include terms relevant to the assessment-based certificate programs, and revise select existing terms so they are applicable to a broader range of credentialing options.
The purpose of the public comment period is to allow interested parties to submit written feedback based on the terminology updates.

What happens after the comment period?
All feedback received will be reviewed by the Terminology Task Force and I.C.E. Management, and comments will be considered for inclusion in the final documentt. The final version will be published on the I.C.E. Store as a complimentary resource.
