About Organizational Membership

I.C.E. Membership vs.
NCCA Accreditation

I.C.E. is a membership organization serving the entire credentialing community. Any organization with an interest in I.C.E. education, resources, and networking is welcome to join as a member at any time. Organizational membership does not imply I.C.E. review, approval, or endorsement. However, current I.C.E. members may use an I.C.E. "Proud Member" logo to identify their affiliation with I.C.E.'s community of credentialing professionals. Organizations that are not I.C.E. members may not use the I.C.E. “Proud Member” logo.

Although I.C.E. supports the National Commission for Certifying Agencies' (NCCA's) accreditation program, it does not require its members to have their programs accredited. NCCA accreditation is separate and requires a formal submission of an application for a specific certification program with documentation that the certification program meets the NCCA Standards.
